PLEASE KEEP THOSE LOVELY DONATIONS COMING, WITH YOUR MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS.  WE NEED THEM.

The Daily Dowsing Vitamin Card is being updated and will be available at our October meeting.   Using these cards on a regular basis ensures that you strengthen your energetic and physical immune systems.  And improve your dowsing.  Use it!

We can afford to include the card with membership now because:  A couple of  years ago I wrote a little story about the card and put it on the site.  People wrote, asking for the cards and I would send them out, cause it seemed like a nice idea.  Then more people started asking and I had to start charging for them  Now we have not received a lot of money for this but at least it lets us give each member a free card.

Audio and Video tapes:    In many places, audio tapes are being put aside in favor of CDs.   Video tapes are being put aside in favor of DVDs.   Many places no longer sell tapes.   We will begin  to acquire CDs and DVDs.   And definitely hold on to our tapes as well.

SUMMER NOTES:  How has your summer been so far?  This was my best summer in several years.  My dad died June 2001 and I feel I recovered my strength et al this past February.  And had more energy this summer (Summer?  What summer?)  for TD work.  But the days went by so quickly.  Time has squeezed again, it seems something happened --- again August 12th.  Have to get out the Time Stretcher Device again.  Have accomplished good things, and, not enough.  Did not redesign the web site or index the newsletters.   The new projects I was working on are not complete so can't introduce them here.  Thought I'd finish all the "work" by the end of July and have some relaxing and catching up time.  Am still taking care of business.  From my conversations with you, you are going through the same thing.

Am trying to think what to tell you about --- it feels like a lot has been done but the only concrete thing I can think of is that I bought a lot of excellent items for the Toronto Dowsers Walter Huszczo Library.   A lot of old and used books in stores in  the Brattleboro, Vermont area.  When I was in Vermont I wanted to buy new clothes but instead found myself in bookstores.  Beautiful exquisite unusual books.  Books that you don't find in Chapters or Amazon or the big stores or in Canada.  We had a very good library, now we have an outstanding library.   Updated the Dowsing Card.  Sent a mailing to 500 "new" people.

I still owe you notes from several sessions.  Based on what's been going on in the past few months, I may not have time to do meeting notes in the newsletters as I have in the past.  Am looking at alternative arrangements, as these notes are important.

Arrangements take time to properly finalize.   For William Henry's visit, for example.   So far I have 96 emails between myself and William, people with questions, making tarot reading appointments, workshop registration, publicity, the radio show, book arrangements, space rentals,  his transportation, lodging, etc.   For our meeting space rental --- a month ago I received an invoice.  It was the wrong one.  I called them asking for the right one.  2 weeks ago I realized I didn't get it so I sent emails.  No answer.  Was in the neighborhood Friday so I dropped in.  Called again this morning.  3 phone calls to 3 different people. It arrived this afternoon.  Our October speaker was invited in February.  A month later was forced to cancel these arrangements and work with another speaker.   It all takes time.  I don't mind doing it, unless there are problems --- and those are reducing as I get the hang of this --- but wanted to give you a taste of what's involved.  So I decided to give myself a raise.  My salary will double, retroactive to January 1st, 2004.

We are pleased we were able to share the cost of Robert Gilbert's workshop in May with Diana Davis for her contribution in creating our logo.  And to offer her free attendance to the meetings this next year.

As we are a dowsing group, William reaches in to his bottomless cornucopia to present to us a discussion about the Dowsing Rods of the Gods (see the description on the back page).   Later on in this newsletter is a write up I wrote last year, about a talk I heard William give at Mary Hardy's 2003 conference, but did not have room for in any newsletter since that time.   It is not specifically on dowsing, but will give you an idea of his area of research.

Tuesday, October 12th:  Ivan McBeth, from England
Druid, Geomancer, Shaman, Stone Circle maker will come to show us more about earth energies as he gives us an overview of the areas he works in.  Dowsers work closely with Earth Energies.  Ivan will teach us about becoming more aware of our relationship with the earth and what to do about it.

He is a Druid in the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, and is the founder of the Megalithic Order of Druids. He is the founder of the Sacred Space School of Shamanic Studies based in the Ashdown Forest, and is a Reiki Master. He is a founder member of the Oak Dragon Project, where he learnt the skills of facilitator and workshop leader. He is a teacher for the Isle of Avalon Foundation, the Mid-Atlantic School of Geomancy, the Geomancy Group, and the Earth Healing School.

Ivan writes:  "Geomancy is the science of communicating, and consciously working with, the Spirit of the Land.   The health of the land directly affects everyone and everything. In fact we are the land, albeit a “portable” bit. It follows, therefore, that if the land is healthy and fully alive, everything on, about, and over the land will be happy and healthy. That includes us.

Since the beginnings of time there have been individuals who have trained and acquired skills in caring for the land. They monitor its health in their “territory”, and take responsibility for undertaking any remedial work, or “healing”, that might be necessary.  Often they are unpaid, yet faithfully perform their work throughout their lives.

Their work may be to neutralise a negative “black” stream by the use of earth acupuncture, to relocate a lost Nature Spirit, or to erect a standing stone to redirect a leyline.

The massive currents of energy that move through the landscape are called, in this culture, Dragons. By learning how to interact with dragons, the Geomancer will direct these energies to wherever they are needed.

It is often not appreciated that Nature is as responsive as any human. The earth can “get ill”, become sad, hurt, lonely, or simply be “off colour”. The land delights in its interactions with people, especially with those who know and consciously interact with it. If one simply appreciates the beauty of a landscape, helps something to grow, plays a musical instrument or dances spontaneously in nature, the landscape will respond, and “smile”. By intuiting the land’s moods, and acting accordingly, one can interact with, and balance the needs of our world.  He has offered 3 different examples of working consciously with dragons, with the intent of honouring, healing and bringing the land alive in wonderful ways."

    PERSPECTIVE

Every newsletter develops a theme, an energy as it is being written.  I don't have the same sort of passion writing this one as I have had with others.  Am kind of "off".  Can you feel this?  It's always hard to get in to it, but once things click in, it writes itself.   Its not happening this week and those who are energy sensitive will notice it.  Having had the summer off from writing, maybe it takes awhile to get back in to it.   It looked as if there were all these different snippets, separate, and then I saw connections taking place, like stepping stones in a brook, some farther apart than others.  But all connected and related.

When I took the Silva Method course, I did it because I wanted better ways to achieve my goals.  Halfway into the course I found that it had a lot to do with spirituality.  And ethics.  Dowsing is similar.

We used to think dowsing was using a tool such as rods or a pendulum to ascertain the best supplements to take.   Or to find the best spot for you to dig a well.   Or to find oil, gas, treasure, your lost keys.   It didn't take too long to realize how connected to spirituality that dowsing really is.  Because one can not dowse successfully if one does not have the right intention, to work for the highest good for all involved.   From my perspective, that is a rather spiritual viewpoint.  And with this, comes the awareness of Consciousness and Conscious Awareness and how to increase this, for ourselves and others.

At least this is what has been happening with our group, in this time.

Dowsing works best when you dowse for earth energies, because those are the strongest, so when we learn dowsing, we start with earth energies. Water.

More and more we are seeing, we are feeling, our growing connectivity with the earth and the interconnectedness of it all.  Physicists are proving through Physics that God exists and religious people are establishing the validity of  physics (not that we really need proof from either one).  ["Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind." - Albert Einstein, in "The New Convergence"]   Our focus, and interest seems to be different than most North American dowsing groups and part of this became clearer when Robert Gilbert pointed out that Western dowsing is mostly Informational Dowsing and Egyptian (and French) dowsing is mostly Spiritual.   The Toronto Dowsers seems to be more eastern in its approach.

At least two thirds of our group has been with us for more than 2 years, many since our first meeting, September 2000.   Dowsing is a part of us where sometimes we use a dowsing tool, sometimes we don't.  We call this Deviceless Dowsing, or Dowseless Dowsing.  Where we have trained our Intuition, or a way to use our Third Eye (as Margaret Ball has taught us)  to come up with the answers.  We mostly explore the uses of dowsing.

In our excitement to explore new frontiers, the basics of dowsing are often overlooked.  Such as The Importance of:

         * Clearing oneself daily and prior to a dowsing session. Perhaps a prayer.
         * Accuracy,  and Asking the right question.
         * Asking for permission, or, the wisdom of asking a question before we do so.
         * Validating --- as best we can --- the accuracy of our answers.

Even experienced dowsers benefit by going back to basics.
We hope we don't lose new dowsers or people new to our group in our enthusiasm to uncover different approaches.   There is so much material coming at us so quickly we try to absorb and assimilate all of it and forget to slow down.   We will be working more directly with clearing energies at our January 2005 meeting.  Dowsing is the basis of everything we are involved in.  Dowsing is energy.

    Summer 2004
I attended 4 events this summer that may interest you:  The ASD Convention, a David Hawkins workshop, Thank Water Day and Mary Hardy's summer conference.   And the Haunted Toronto tour which will be written about separately, later on.
The ASD convention:   This is an annual event that takes place in the summer, lately, in June.  It is the annual convention of the American Society of Dowsers, the national dowsers organization with about 3,500 members (down from a recent 5,000) and over 70 chapters nationwide.  This is my 5th convention.  I am also one of 17 trustees on the Board of Trustees.  Like our own meetings, every ASD convention has a different energy.  Shelley Bourne also attended and she was my roommate in a motel that we stayed in off campus.

We had a great time.  One of the best parts of these events is the people --- seeing old friends and making new ones. There are pre and post convention workshops.   They have 3 1/2 days of sessions, 4 time slots per day, 6 choices per time slot.  There is a sales area set up in the gym (this takes place on a college campus in Northeast Vermont) where you can buy things. Social activities in the evening.

It was at the ASD that I met past --- and future speakers for our group:  Robert Gilbert,  Raymon Grace, Alan Handelsman, Mary Hardy,  Joey Korn, and Ivan McBeth --- an arrangement that has benefited everyone.   The difference this year was that the convention was, I think, weaker, due to what was created by the governing body of the ASD.   I was fortunate that attendance was down by about 25% as with fewer people I was able to receive more time from the speakers.   It is possible that this took place because the registration forms were went out about a month later than usual.  This was probably due to the fact that staff quit, new staff was hired and they quit as well.   (The executive members of the ASD Board of Trustees comprise the Personnel Committee.)

Some of the stronger speakers did not attend.  Louis Matacia canceled his entire program, which was a great loss.  Dowsers feel energy.  It is possible that they knew about the 2 or 3 groups or individuals who had sent documents to inform about the legal actions they are prepared to take against [members of] the governing board and they just did not like being around this kind of energy.  I don't blame them.  I am part of the governing board and I don't like it either.  It's kind of difficult to achieve constructive and positive results when you have a president who ignores anything or anyone he disagrees with, such as Trustees, lawyers, ASD editors, chapter leaders, members, former trustees, Bylaws, ASD Policy and Procedures, etc.  It seems that everything this board has done has been about attempting to govern themselves.  Kind of a waste of time, from the members point of view.  I've only included a teeny part of the farce that has been taking place, to provide some understanding but not dwell on it.  A series of high colonics could be quite useful for some of this bunch.

I took a 2 day Advanced Dowsing School with Walt Woods.  One of the things I did not know and found absolutely fascinating was about the causes of Noxious Energies and Geopathic Stress. This can be caused by Fracture lines, by Tides (Land as well as Ocean), by Gravity.  The weakest places in the crust of the earth are where fracture lines take place.  They are under hundreds of tons of pressure.  They are under so much pressure that the nuclei of the atoms get crushed and the protons in these atoms get moved.  What happens is --- if the nucleus is crushed --- squeezed --- gamma rays are emitted.  This energy is radiated in all directions but it accumulates at the fracture point.. And, when water moves through rocks, electrons break off.  Directly above these zones --- if you stay for a long time in these areas --- arthritis, etc., develops.

Walt says a box elder hedge will not grow over a noxious zone.  Bees have adapted to use noxious energies to produce good honey.  You do not want to move noxious energy zones because you don't know what you are affecting.

Mary Hardy gave an excellent presentation on the Feminine Principal.  David Yarrow, from New York State spoke about Onondaga Lake, and its sacred relationship with the earth as this is where "The Peacemaker gathered the Five Nations to bury the hatchet, and where he planted The Tree of Peace. Somewhere beside this lake is the area of land where The Peacemaker imparted The Great Law of Peace to form the Five Nations Confederacy."   He had a wonderful Power Point Presentation.   Jane Weaver, a colleague of Robert Gilbert's gave a presentation that gave the background of some of the researchers he has studied.

Alicja Aratyn was hilarious with her jokes, and there was no mistaking her knowledge of her subject in her presentation on the Mysteries Behind Pyramid Power.  Glenn Broughton was the keynote speaker and presented on Crop Circles.  Sandee Mac's presentation on dying and death taught people how to assist to the other side.  Dr. Jorge Raff has a Flower Energy healing modality.  And many many more very good presentations on subjects of interest to dowsers and energy workers.

I purchased 30 CDs of the talks for our library.  Yes, they did sell audio tapes, but they were harder to get and 50% more expensive than the CDs.  Unfortunately (again) they cut the 90 minute presentations off after about 75-80 minutes so the CDs are not complete. The presentatons are on one long track out of it instead of several.  But that's all we have.

I know you can feel the 'admirable' restraint I'm exercising to not say all I would like to about the shenanigans.  The ASD is an excellent organization.  The Convention Committee, the Danville Chapter and their many hard working Volunteers did a superb job pulling together a pretty good convention despite the hand they were dealt.  ASD members are caring and committed.  They do not deserve the governance they are receiving.  It is possible that like the Indians who also had admirable qualities and were spiritually damaged by the Europeans, that they, too, have become complacent and need to  value and cherish who they are and what they have and take better care of it; that a purging is required and taking place and they will kick butt and come back better and stronger than before.  They definitely have the Right Stuff.  I hope so.  And that we will be around to enjoy it.

I've been seeing --- and hearing --- about huge problems with dowsing groups and spiritual organizations, i.e., the out of control egos and hypocrisy and infighting among the leadership.  A guess is we are not supposed to have hierarchical organizations any longer, but flow with Aquarian energy which is grassroots and communal without a charismatic leader (usually male) at the top of the heap.

    *        *        *        *        *        *        *
David Hawkins:  Held a workshop here June 26th.   Paul Newton, who organizes the ongoing David Hawkins' study groups in Toronto was instrumental in bringing him here.  [If  interested, contact Paul:  (416) 587-5812.)  13 of us attended.  Through his books, starting with "Power vs. Force"  David Hawkins opens our minds to perceptions we have not previously considered.  This increases and raises our consciousness.   Now in his 70's?  80's?   He was in the armed forces in WWII, was a colleague of Linus Pauling and practiced psychiatry.

I am conflicted about this man and his work.  I esteem his philosophy and have gone to great lengths these past 2 years to share it with you as best I can.  Yet his 'calibrations', many of his statements and the actions of the people who are supposed to represent him seem to be radically incongruent with what he preaches.   Its as incongruous to me as if  one were to see Mother Theresa scarfing down some ribs and beer at Swiss Chalet with her hand on the knee of a hottie.   Not exactly in keeping with professed beliefs.  To understand more, go to:  HAWKINS  .  (I didn't finish that page because I don't want to spend too much time on it.)

And, I don't exactly agree with his calibrations of certain people such as GWB et Cie.   What Dr. Hawkins does not comprehend is that he is calibrating the thought forms that have been purposefully built up around these people, not these people themselves.  Otherwise they would be way below 200.  In his workshop, when he was asked about Crystals he said that "Crystals are inert minerals. Some have attributed magical properties to them.  I do not."  He had a similar remark for astrology.  I was not about to ask him about dowsing.  Dr. Hawkins is a wonderful man with very important things to say.  And this God like cult that has been built up around him serves no one.  Coming from a science background, he professes to have concrete answers.  There are many who think they need to know what their calibration is, what the answers are and someone like Dr. Hawkins appears to be a fixer, especially to those who feel they are broken and someone other than themselves will fix them.  He is a very intelligent man with very good things to share with us.  Knowledgeable in many areas, not an expert in all.

He puts in to words that which has been wordless.  He helps expand awareness, helps us think larger and higher than we have been thinking before, to go outside of the matrix, to see things from beyond our own personal scope, to have a better understanding of intention, ego, consciousness, judgment, opinion and the mind, evolution, realization, spirituality.  His insights and his way of seeing things are valuable.

    *        *        *        *        *        *        *
Thank Water Day:  July 25th.  This is the 2nd time we took part in Masaru Emoto's annual Thank Water Day.  Like last year, several of us were gathered at a spot on Lake Ontario, at Budapest Park, just west of the Palais Royal.  With intention, we send our thanks, love and respect to the water.  And the energy of the water, hence the physicality, improves.

I didn't tell anyone what I was doing last year around this, because I didn't want our thoughts to influence the energy.  I kept my own mind pretty neutral, too.  Every week, for the 4 months preceding Thank Water Day, I'd visit that spot on the Lake, wade in to the water about 30 feet, and take a sample.  I did the same thing for several weeks after the ceremony.   Just going in to that scuzzy water was a heroic feat!   The water was  supposed to be tested but we lost the connection with the testers.

When we went back this year, there was a marked difference.  It was clear.  No scuzziness.

Dowsers find water.  As Conscious Dowsers, not only do we find water, but we love, respect, honor and thank it.  We are the guardians of the earth energies.  Of the water and the grids.

    *        *        *        *        *        *        *
Mary Hardy held her annual Temple of Sakkara Conference at her home in Michigan during our Civic Holiday weekend.  It's approximately her 25th year, the 2nd for me and a few others, and the first for most of us.  20 Toronto Dowsers attended and every single one had a humongously extraordinarily stupendous miraculous time.  Energy was great, the weather cooperated, food was plentiful and inexpensive, insights and AHAs coming fast and furious, knowledge and understanding imparted and received.  We spent time in her pyramid, in the lake and the fire walk, led by Art Jackson was participated in by many.  The drumming accompanying the fire walk, under a full Blue Moon, by the lake --- with torches and dancing helped us comprehend we were part of a sacred ceremony.  Our own Pete Coles and David Yeo were principal drummers.  Those guys are HOT!

William Henry gave 2 riveting presentations.  There were presentations on the Brain, Color Therapy, the Root Races, the Divine Feminine, The Ascension Code, QXCI, Gemstones, Essential Oils, etc.  (I may possibly have CDs of these talks available for us later this fall.) Starr Fuentes, who created Light Language Therapy, provided information on StarGates.  I hope to have the time to give you more info on this.  I know you want to hear it, and, its worth finding out about.

    Additional Interesting Tidbits:
A US $20 BANKNOTE.  Do you recall the president on the face of the banknote?   Who do you think he looks like?

As soon as she asked this I knew who it was, because the resemblance IS uncanny.   An astrologer at one of the summer events said a US presidential candidate looks amazingly like this president.  Yup.  And that the astrology of these 2 individuals would indicate that this candidate will win the election, to clean up the promises he made and did not keep when he was president previously.  And, all the psychics predict that the other guy will win.

Someone else had an inkling that the Powers That Be have decided that Bush is out.  Because the photos of the mistreated Iraqi prisoners were released to the media, and, they have very tight control over EVERYTHING.  So if the photos were leaked, its that they want Bush to be in disfavor.  There are certainly a lot of anti Bush feeling.  However, the other guy is not much better.  They are --- distant --- cousins.  How about Oprah for President and Michael Moore for VP?

MINERALS:   What are the plants pulling up from the ground for their nourishment?  Minerals.   We eat plants.  Cows eat plants.  We eat cows and plants.  And it all starts with minerals.  This health professional said that vitamins are re arranged minerals.  So it all starts with minerals.  Minerals give us our electricity, our lives.

PIRATE FLAG:   Almost a year ago, in writing some info about the Templars and how their history has been bastardized, what was written is that the Templar flag was the skull and bones and that it was taken over by those who wanted to eradicate their influence and made a flag of fear.

Here's another piece to this:  Yes, the Skull and Bones flag was the Templar flag.  And they believed in reincarnation because they knew it is so.  They were known as "mean sons of bitches".  And no one wanted to mess with them.  Because they fought well and they had no fear because they knew this was just another stop on the bus line and that they would be returning..  The skull was the pelvic / vaginal area of woman.  The crossed bones represented her legs.  Their statement was that they would be born again.  That's what the flag represented.   And, they were a threat to standard Christianity because the Church had no control over them and had to be stamped out.

Buddha Relics Tour   comes to Toronto

When:  Saturday and Sunday, September 11 and 12.  Viewing:  10 am - 5 pm
Where: Chua Chanh Giac  (A Vietnamese Buddhist Temple);   300 Bathurst Street
Cost:  There is no charge for the viewing but donations will be welcomed

Paul Newton invites us to the Toronto stop of the world wide tour of  Buddha Relics before they are permanently enshrined in a monument to the Buddha, the Heart Shrine of the 500ft/152m Maitreya statue, in Kushingar, UP, India sometime later this decade.

These are believed to be relics of the Buddhas including Shakyamuni Buddha (Prince Siddharta) as real.  Paul says that  "there is an energetic benefit to one's energy field by the intent of being in their presence. I can highly recommend it as I have already visited the Tour in the US and I can confirm there is a definite energetic effect."

The Tour does not charge an entrance fee but donations are very much welcomed. The Project is endorsed by the Dalai Lama and a host of luminaries including the movie star, Richard Gere.  "Maitri" is a Sanskrit word for love but not romantic love.

One of the monks will bless if you wish you by placing a relic of Shakyamuni Buddha (Prince Gautama Siddharta, the historical Buddha) on your crown chakra while reciting an incantation.

SEPTEMBER 22, 8 PM:  Join in the GLOBAL CALL TO ACTION

The Toronto Dowsers has participated in this event the 22nd of September, December and March.  March 22nd, 2003 was our first visit to The Mound.  This history, story and feedback was written up in the May 2003 Toronto Dowsers newsletter.  If you can, return to The Mound that evening.

Wednesday September 22 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, please join in the global network to raise the energy and consciousness of the Earth.  All types of positive healing energy - dowsing, Reiki, prayer, chanting, meditation, tai chi, drumming, EVERYTHING - should be directed to the waters, the land, the people, the animals, the governments, the religious institutions and the past, present, and future of our planet. For a minute, an hour or as long as you wish, please direct your thoughts and energy to this effort.  Our collective goal is to unilaterally claim our divine power and ability to heal, balance and protect the Earth from any and all negative energies.  Please share this message with everyone you know.  Thank you for caring, and doing something about it!  The future is ours to create now.

Four times a year, at 8 p.m. EST on the 22nd of  March, June, September and December, light workers around the globe are invited to join together again.  Again, our collective goal is to unilaterally claim our divine power and ability to heal, balance and protect the Earth from any and all negative energies.  These four dates tie in with the seasonal solstices, and will keep the healing energy “set in motion” all year long.

This series of events was catalyzed by a friend of Raymon Grace.  We are reminded that everyone has the divine power to heal and affect positive change.  But too rarely do we accept the responsibility to direct our energies to healing the planet.  Here's our chance to make a meaningful contribution.

From Richard  (Dick) Martin, who has been teaching meditation in Toronto for over 20 years.  You remember the sound healing CDs that he has sold at our socials?  and that he has donated to our library?  (Gateway to Fulfillment, and Goddess Healing).   His new CD, "Sacred Geometry" is said to recalibrate all the chakra systems both in the physical, etheric, energy and soul spirit body.

Richard says that  the tradition of  Sacred Geometry  in the west has come through Pythagorus, the great mathematician, who studied for 22 years in the temples of Egypt and then brought his mathematical concepts to Greece.   And --- the origin of the Mystery Schools  involves Sacred Geometry.   They use the sounds associated with each geometric shape:  circle   line   triangle   square   pentagon and the golden mean --- to propel people --- almost like it was a space vehicle --- to take you to the higher reaches of God and the creation.    It actually is like a space vehicle.    You keep traveling all through this experience of SG until you find yourself in a space where you are part of the expanding universe in energy form.  Pure energy.  No angels, no nothing.  Pure energy.

Dick has been associated with the A.R.E. (Association of Research and Enlightenment) --- Edgar Cayce's organization --- with Edgar Cayce Canada  and will be joining ECC leader Frank Thomas in a Past Life workshop.   (Nancy and Frank Thomas were our guests, October 2003 when they attended Joey Korn's presentation.  Joey also presents at A.R.E. events.)

REMEMBERING PAST LIVES  -  RELEASING THE PAST, EMPOWERING THE PRESENT  -   Saturday September 25, 2004
First Unitarian Church   -   175 St. Clair Ave. W.
Doors open at 8:30 AM  -   Cost: $50 by September 15, 2004  -     Space permitting registration at the door will be $60
Contact Information:    Susan Lappin: (416) 466-5324      Nancy Thomas: (519) 369-3973

Frank says:   "Over 5,000 of the recorded "readings" of the famous mystic, Edgar Cayce, were past life readings. From my understanding of the Cayce life readings that I have been studying for the past twenty eight years and from conducting past life regressions for over ten years, I have come to these conclusions:

        1. We are spiritual beings residing temporarily in physical bodies.
        2. Most of our emotional and physical problems come from life patterns we have built in our past lives and have  not dealt with.
        3. We are the only one who judges our actions;  thus fear and guilt stop us from becoming the wondrous beings we really are.

All of our past lives are in our sub-conscious and can be accessed by:

                Dream Recall                    Hypnosis                Reverie Regression

DICK MARTIN – RELEASING THE PAST, EMPOWERING THE PRESENT
Dick's approach:   "When our personal power is locked into the trauma of past unhappiness, there is not enough energy left for a vibrant and fulfilling life. Using meditation, releasing, forgiveness, and healing sound, participants will be lead through various experiential exercises to clear past limitations, facilitating the conscious awareness of unity and oneness with the Whole."    Sacred sound is an harmonic therapy entraining us in the Divine Vibration of the Creative Forces (God).  Grounding sounds bring us back, manifesting the Kingdom of God on Earth - and this is what we are here to do.

Speaking of Edgar Cayce - - -  Have you heard about  David Wilcock ?   David is said to be the RE-INCARNATION of Edgar Cayce, and this has been verified by Uri Geller.  Yes, many people say they are the reincarnation of Cayce and apparently Cayce himself had said that he would not return until much later in our future.  He bears a striking physical resemblance to Cayce, and, is getting a lot of positive feedback.   What do you think?

He was the guest on the CoastToCoast radio show the night of August 17th.  Speaking with Pat K. the day after his show, we had the same opinion, about the most important part of his interview.  He was asked about global conspiracies and he did discuss, briefly, their existence.  However, he said the most important thing is to  WORK  ON  YOURSELF. i.e., your own personal spiritual development.

This is the same advice Bill Askin, Raymon's teacher had for us; cautioning us about the many distractions we allow ourselves to get pulled towards.  Bill said "the most important thing you can do is to work on your light body."  So much is set up to distract us, to prevent us from doing this.

ONGOING:   In her forward to Ernest Holmes' Science of Mind, Jean Houston writes   "It is perhaps one of the most potent and influential books of the twentieth century..."   Many dowsers concur with Jane's viewpoint including Bill Askin and Harold McCoy.   September 2000, the Bloor Street Cinema (Bloor & Bathurst) became the home for a Religious Science congregation whose teachings are based on Science of Mind principles and other works of Ernest Holmes.   It is an inclusive spiritual community with a strong education component. Now called the Centre for Conscious Living  it has a meditation service 10.30 am and a Celebration at 11.00 every Sunday morning at the Bloor Cinema.   There is an evening service at St. Luke's United (SE corner of Sherbourne & Carleton) and a Tuesday evening "Cocktails for the Soul" for an extra inspirational boost also at St. Luke's. Both evening services are at 7.30.

A few Toronto Dowsers have already checked out the services and our very own Brian Harris is the pianist on Sunday mornings. More information is available on their website: www.cfcl.ca.

     Unseen (?)  Energies:   Ghosts . . .  Crop Circle Makers ... *Symbols*

    Spirits:
Once you become aware of the possibilities, you may start to notice there is a lot of talk about GHOSTS IN TORONTO.

First:  May or June 2004:  This was part of a radio broadcast I heard:

"There are schools in Toronto that are reporting serious hauntings.  Caretakers committing suicide.   Many of those reporting the hauntings work at night.   After Hurricane Hazel (1954), some of these schools were used as morgues. . . ."
These kinds of energies could be contributing factors for some of the disruptive behavior taking place at schools.   If energies are getting more difficult to deal with, then any "ghosts" would be even more disturbed themselves, hence more disturbing to us.

Next:  We had 2  "Haunted Toronto" tours this summer.

Richard Fiennes-Clinton, the founder and principal tour guide of Muddy York Walking Tours took us on these tours, evening walks that were informative, entertaining and energetic.  The direction that Richard approached it from made us feel as if we were in a different city.  The July tour was around the University of Toronto.   Apparently Mr. William Christie, of Christie's cookies had locked his mistress in a room in a building that now belongs to the U of T.  Hmmm.  Either --- he killed her?  or she committed suicide? --- and her ghost haunts the area.   I'll never fee the same way about Christie's cookies.

And, at Soldier's Memorial Tower ---- one of the workmen, working on the stained glass at the time of construction, slipped and fell to his death.  Many of us could sense the presence of this man's ghost.

Some of the spirits wanted to be where they are, and, its best to leave them alone.  Others don't.  I don't know if anyone helped them go home, I hope so.  We learned a lot more about Toronto that evening.

The second tour was around the streets of Toronto, to hear about  the paranormal legends behind a lot of Toronto's famous sites, like Queen's Park, Old City Hall, and Osgoode Hall.

Last: At this site:/www.unsolvedmysteries.com  I found a listing with about 20 ghostly sites in Toronto.  Here are 3 of them that may -- or may not --- surprise you.
  • Aurora - Aurora Heights Public School - "It is said that this school is built over top of a graveyard.  When I attended this school doors would open and shut on a regular basis.  I would here a voice of a younger boy.  Possibly one that previously attended this school, or a boy that was upset of his grave being disturbed.  Teachers and students today still say the doors do the same, although they have all been replaced."
  • Toronto - Middlefield Rd and McNicole Ave. - "Residents of the small quiet neighborhood district, Alton Towers, claim that many of the empty houses on the southeastern part of the neighborhood are haunted. A ghostly young woman was said to have been seen along the side of the street on Ingleton Blvd across from the local school, Macklin P.S."
  • Toronto - Old Bay St. Subway Stn. - "According to a few employees of the T.T.C. (Toronto Transit Commission), the old tunnel (which is no longer in use) that exists below the now existing Bay St. station is haunted by the ghost of a woman, known by workers as "The Lady in Red". Several employees have been down there at night working away when they swear that they saw a woman in a long red dress walking through the tunnel toward them. She is apparently quite distraught and when the workers look closely at her, she has no feet (she just hovers toward them) no eyes, and then she quickly disappears. Strange noises, and a woman singing are said to be heard nightly by night personnel in the part of the subway station that is currently in use today."
  • Crop Circle news is getting bigger and bigger:

I was told by someone who went to last month's crop circle conference in Glastonbury, that if a group with the appropriate intention  --- intends --- that a crop circle be formed in a specific location --- that this will likely take place.  And, if they have a design in mind, this, too will occur as designed and intended.  And that they take under 5 seconds to form.  Crop Circle watchers have reported this  --- they know this because when they have intended the circle take place --- that is how long it took.

Being in a crop circle changes a person.    Being in that energy is transformational.

Do you remember the Star Dreams video tape that Ron Dmytrenko donated to our library?   THANKS, RON!    Ron's gift catalyzed good events.  He gave us the video, I saw it, liked it and wrote a review of it in our April newsletter.   Neil Olsen, the documentary researcher, saw the review and contacted me to let me know that he and Robert Nichol, the writer producer would be doing a cross Canada tour.  I was able to send an email to those who gave me their email address, and some saw it when they came to Toronto.  (It looks MUCH better on the big screen.)    As they were to be in Montreal at the time of the ASD convention and I knew the ASD was having a crop circle speaker, I contacted the ASD  to recommend that they show this video.   They did.  200 people saw it the Friday night of the convention and they sold out of all the copies they had brought with them.   I heard so many complimentary comments about the quality of the video and peoples increased understanding of crop circles and the message.  I bought 10 copies of the video which will be available at our sales table.  THANKS, RON!   (A comment Robert Nichol made at the Toronto showing, was that this is a heightened time for "Spiritually Creative people".  No wonder why YOU are so busy!)

CROP CIRCLE OF THE YEAR:   August 4, 2004 Silbury Hill, Wiltshire, England - This Crop Circle features an Ancient Egypt mosaic in the centre and symbols from the Mayan Calendar around the rim..  Whoever, or whatever, is responsible for this formation, the design in its border is a mirror image of a rare statue of the Aztec God, Xochipilli, The Prince of Flowers, Maizes, Love, Games, Beauty, Song and Dance. Xochi means 'flower,' while pilli means either prince or child. In the mid-1800's, a 16th century Aztec statue of Xochipilli was unearthed on the side of the volcano Popocatapetl near Tlamanalco, Mexico. The statue is of a single figure seated upon a temple-like base.

From:  Paul Anderson at the Canadian Crop Circle Research Network - GRAND BEND, ONTARIO, August 2004:

"Vesica Picses"- style set of four interlocking circles in wheat, initially reported August 8 (confirmed August 13) but first seen about July 21. Approximately 36.5 metres (120 feet) long. Near location of Hensall, Ontario formation from 2003. Field had unfortunately already been harvested before formation could be examined on the ground, but pattern still visible.  One digital ground photo taken August 13 contains an aerial anomaly nicknamed the "amoeba" for it's odd shape with darker spot inside it. Further details pending. This is the seventh reported formation so far for 2004.  To subscribe or unsubscribe to Crop Circle Research Connector news, send an e-mail with either Subscribe CCCRN News or Unsubscribe CCCRN News in the subject line to: cccrnnews@cccrn.ca

        More Symbols:

We have the Crop Circles and their Symbols.  We have the BioGeometric symbols Robert Gilbert introduced us to.  I am hearing from many of you who took his workshop that you are having excellent results in your gardens with these symbols.   We have taken Masaru Emoto's concepts and find ways to put the words "Thank You" and "I Love You  on water bottles, pipes, faucets, to heal better energize our water.   There are more symbols, of this nature, that may be of interest to Dowsers.   Some listed below might not be that easy to find.

Jack Temple is a dowsing healer who has been in practice for over twenty years.  He identifies the existence of toxins by dowsing with a silver pendulum, clearing the magnetic energy field around the body and applying homeopathic remedies to balance the patient's energies and encourage natural healing.   His book,  "The Healer" includes what he calls `healing with the crypto power of the Hebrew word'.    This involves placing a piece of paper imprinted with certain ancient Hebrew characters beneath a glass of spring water, so that the healing powers of the letters are transmitted to the water. And this works, Jack says, even if you have no religious belief whatever! Included in the book are the Hebrew texts you need, so that all you need to do is photocopy them. This is one of the new books purchased June 2004 for our library.

Sanjeevini  :   The Sanathana Sai Sanjeevinis (generally known as Sanjeevinis) are highly focussed healing prayers to heal different body parts and different diseases. Each Sanjeevini prayer is symbolically represented as a Sanjeevini Healing Card. At present there are 60 Body parts Sanjeevinis and 186 Diseases Sanjeevini.  They are symbols that you use, in a manner similar to radionics.  You use a medium such as water or sugar pills, place it on the symbol (you have dowsed for) for the situation you want to correct, leave it there to charge up and then take that appropriately charged item and broadcast it to the person being helped.  (I printed this book off years ago.)

The image below is one of the 186 conditions and is used for the Thyroid.   The entire system can be downloaded for free, from their web site.

Paper Doctor:   This book was written by Don Gerrard.   Using the symbols in this book, like the Sanjeevini System, one could rebalance the energy of dis-eases.   This extremely valuable book has been out of print for some time.  Don Gerrard says:   "That book was written by me after 15 years of research. I published it in 1991 and it went out of print a couple of years later due to harassment by authorities in Texas, and other states."   If you find a copy of this book, hold on to it.  If anyone has one to sell, I'm interested.  I've seen it but do not own a copy and have heard of the effectiveness of the remedies.

Malcom Rae and his cards:   Malcom Rae  (electronic engineer and dowser, 1913 - 1979), one of the giants of Radionics first worked with 'conventional' Radionic instruments.. These instruments coded the vibrational quality of a selected substance in terms of a chain of numbers - Diamond, for example, is 442337. By dowsing round a circle Rae discovered that distinct pendulum reactions are obtained at certain angular relations to the earth's magnetic field. These are marked within the circle as radial lines. The resolution of each line is to one degree of arc. The result is a system of cards. There are currently more than 25,000 cards in his system.  He worked with David Tansley, who is the author of many radionics books.

Senzar™ Chakra Shield symbols, were recently developed by Michele Fitzgerald,  founder of Senzar Learning Center in Sedona, Arizona, and the developer of the Senzar™ Clearing System.  "They are used to protect oneself  from being energetically linked at any of the seven major chakras by other people.  Chakra linking is a common energetic exchange that occurs as a result of unresolved emotional issues.   When this type of energetic exchange happens, the individuals who are linked together can acquire a wide range of  energies from each other, including emotional energies, and even energies that can manifest physical conditions."  You can find out more about these thru the referenced site, or by taking one of Michele's classes or 928-204-0592, or Senzar@sedonaportal.com.

At the ASD convention, I purchased a  calendar from the keynote speaker.  It is a Crop Circle Calendar, from the Wiltshire Crop Circle Study Group.  AND!!!  they said that this is a Mayan Tzolkin Calendar.  So the Crop Circle people are integrating their work with Mayan Cosmology, as many crop circles show Mayan symbols.  They use glyphs and tones and bring up fractals.   This activates the right side of brain, which is the side we use for dowsing.  And intuition.  As we become more aware of symbols, and make conscious decisions to use them, we integrate the left (male) and right (female) sides, as our logical side pulls up the symbology from where it has lain, dormant, in our unconscious, for millennia.   It is time to awaken that awareness to bring both sides together in harmony.

This is also Aquarian energy, as the Water Bearer (symbol of Aquarius) empties the Urn of water (our unconscious) so that what has been hidden can no longer remain hidden.   (We see this demonstrated in politics and society for approximately the last 2-3 decades.  You can't hide anything any longer.  So fergettaboutit.)

And Yet More Symbols, with Earth History and Energy:

Earth is a body and has chakras.  Different locations on the planet represent different chakras.  The energy and qualities of these locations reflect and represent the qualities associated with the chakra that they are.  In conversation with a friend of   Prophet / Psychic / Remote Viewer Sean David Morton   I was handed a listing of the chakras and their earth locations he teaches that may interest you.   Below is a list of the chakras, and their locations.  They are not matched up.  Match them up.  The answers are on our Internet site at: www.dowsers.info/toronto/chakras.htm .   There are 2 trick questions, so do dowse for it instead of using your intellect.  Once you get the list, you will understand why each area is known for the activities and energy we attribute to them.  Clear yourself first of all thoughts, opinions, etc. about the answers.

Directions:  Dowse to match the Chakra with its Location.
Chakra:   Root       Sacral        Solar Plexus        Heart            Throat        3rd Eye        Crown
Location:    Macchu Pichu        Stonehenge        Tibet         Los Angeles       Giza        Easter Island        Japan

A Final Use for Symbols:   Winning the Lottery

Hope this is not disrespectful:   This could be very good for visually oriented people.   Many dowsers are able to dowse for financial gain without coming from a place of greed.   Dowsing (as mentioned above) makes use of the Right (Intuitive) side of the brain.   Yet numbers and the alphabet access the left side of the brain.  (Arabic numbers began as symbols.)   Since you are using your Right Hemisphere for dowsing, consider staying in that hemisphere for these answers.   [When I am in "newsletter mode", like now, or focusing on organizing, I can not dowse.  I am so entrenched in it and can "feel" my brain functioning in logical mode.]  So consider using a set of symbols to represent numbers.   You might want to use the Memory Pegs that the Silva Method teaches (A cup of tea equals "one",  Noah equals "two", the Month of May equals "three" and so on.)

Ensure that the symbols and their numerical equivalent are firmly embedded in your --- brain?  mind?, so that when you sense a number you sense the symbol, so that, the number "49" for example, might bring up a vivid picture of the suns Rays over the Bay.   "57", for example, might bring up a vivid picture of a Police Officer (Law)  holding a big old fashioned Key.

When you dowse for the numbers for the lottery that you intend to win, dowse for these symbols.  When this method works for you, a donation to the Toronto Dowsers would be greatly appreciated!

Rogers Cable  (modem).   Many people use Rogers.  Here's a helpful site:
    http://www.rbua.org/whoweare.php
This organization started out as the Rogers @Home Users' Association. The RHUA was formed at the end of 1998 with several intents and objectives in mind. First and foremost, we just wanted better performance from our cablemodem service, known as Rogers@Home. At the time, with perhaps forty to fifty thousand subscribers across Canada, the service just about collapsed. Performance was akin to an overloaded dialup service, complete with 400+ millisecond ping times and snail-paced downloads to anywhere off of the @Home backbone. At the same time, technical support telephone wait times were in excess of 45 minutes on average and e-mail support was practically nonexistent. What was worse was that no one from either Rogers or AtHome would acknowledge that our service was in any way flawed, much less on the brink of functioning. Many of our members spent countless hours waiting on hold to speak with technical support reps who could not tell them any more than they already knew. Something had to give.

Things actually improved after six weeks of this non-service and the RHUA was created shortly thereafter. Before the group was conceived of, we were just a bunch of extremely frustrated subscribers sharing our service-related stories in the various rogerswave.* and athome.discussion* newsgroups. After Rob Mitzel came along with a plan and a means for organizing our efforts in a more formal manner, we had a mailing list, a website and a collective voice to further our cause for obtaining better service. And that's when we really started getting our word out.

Soon enough, discussions with management were taking place, press attention was garnered and a couple of face-to-face meetings occurred between group member Chris Weisdorf and several senior management officials from Rogers Cable and Rogers@Home. Reports of the results of those meetings can be found here and here.

After several months of communication with management, things began to improve and progress was finally made. There are still periods where one or more components of the service will deteriorate, but things are better than they were before. We exist to ensure everything stays that way.

    1)   Summer 2004 Field Trip    =*=*=    More Than "Just" Coffee

One of the activities we had this summer was a Saturday afternoon field trip to the Merchants of Green Coffee, near Queen Street and Broadview.  They import and sell [mostly] green coffee beans, roasting and brewing equipment.  They started 10 years ago selling wholesale and recently entered the retail market  They have a funky neat store.

2 years ago I went to the Big Carrot (the largest health food store in Toronto) and saw a coffee roaster for sale, in a prominent position.  I asked the department manager why the Big Carrot, with its focus on health, would be touting coffee.  His answer surprised me and opened up a whole new world of inquiry and exploration.

[Why?  Is this Nutritional Consultant ex raw foodist former vegan health nut talking about Coffee?  and Wine --- so often?  Because --- there are things we have been misled about.  There is different information.  There is symbology, history.  And reasons relating to spirituality.  And while it matters so profoundly what we eat and drink, at the same time, it doesn't matter at all.  And more.]
MOGC focuses on the production and sale of high quality sustainable coffees.  This means that they have entered into a partnership between farmers, consumers, third party certifiers, coffee experts, governments, NGO's, universities, and industry.  SCP coffees are grown and processed on traditional coffee farms, under a canopy of shade trees, in harmony with nature and people.

They focus on providing high quality coffee, buying directly from farmer cooperatives where the farmers receive fair pay rather than dealing with multiple middlemen.   Paying fair prices lets farmers re-invest profit backs into farms and communities to improve quality of life. Fair trade also means equal opportunity and pay,   The coffee is grown, and, processed naturally rather than industrially.

One of the most impressive parts of the day was the background of one of our 2 presenters:  Alan Smith, one of the partners, gave most of the presentation.  His co-presenter was Julie Daniluk.  Julie, with big blue eyes and porcelain skin  is the head nutritionist at the Big Carrot Health Food Store and has worked at the Big Carrot for 11 years.   She came in specially to speak to us about the health benefits of coffee.

We, as Dowsers, are concerned about the good health of our planet and earth energies. To understand the big picture we focus on a smaller one, one that we can more easily understand, hold in our hand.  A simple cup of coffee.   How does it get to us?  What's involved?

2/3 of the adults in Canada drink coffee.  Its a huge business.   Over 400 billion cups of coffee are consumed every year, making coffee the 2nd largest commodity industry in the world, with revenues that exceed 10 billion dollars per year.    Industrial coffee growers have used up an inordinate amount of the resources of our planet.  It is one of top three most heavily pesticide sprayed crops in the world (following cotton and tobacco).    Every cup of coffee consumed destroys roughly three square centimeters of rainforest, making coffee a leading cause of rainforest destruction.    To dry the washed coffee beans, 16,000 hectares of wood was destroyed  in Latin America last year --- about the size of Beverly Hills.  For industry to rinse the coffee beans, this is a major cause of water pollution.  2,400 liters of water is wasted to wash 150 pounds of coffee.  As this is done high in the mountains, it is pumped in to the rivers and pollutes the rivers.

Did you know this about the cup of coffee you are drinking right now?  Do you think this is a positive use of our resources?  Naturally produced coffee offers none of these problems.

"The first record of a cup of coffee is in the 1300's, when Islamic monks brewed a hot beverage with roast and ground coffee beans called "qahwa".   Coffee is viewed as a spiritual drink, restricted to prayer and meditation."

One of the problems I'd been reading about lately with coffee, is its adverse effect on estrogen.  So I asked Julie about it.  She said this is due to the pesticides in industrial coffee production.  The pesticides disrupt sexual hormones, especially leading to ovarian or breast cysts.  Naturally grown and processed coffee has none of these problems.

If you go into a Starbucks you may see brochures highlighting the fact that Starbucks sells fair trade (i.e., fair to the farmer) coffee.  However, it seems that a total of approximately 1% of its coffee is fair trade, that they did this due to public pressure and this 1% gives them the right to advertise that they sell fair, i.e., to farmers,  trade coffee.
When grown in a biodiverse environment, different coffees often have different influences.  You might notice banana notes, cocoa notes, nut notes.  The true taste of fresh coffee is naturally sweet not bitter and infused with unique taste characteristics like wine.    It's like the difference between a freshly grown tomato in August and one of those cardboard ones in February; a loaf of bread baked by your grandma vs. a hot dog bun.

I have a nutritional degree and ate vegan style for 7 years, eschewing coffee, alcohol, wheat, dairy, etc.  I grew up thinking coffee was a teaspoon of Maxwell House in boiling water with a saccharine pill and CoffeeMate.  It seems that the problem with coffee is not coffee, but the way its produced and processed.  Done properly, coffee has health benefits.

Used properly, coffee is served to hyperactive children.  Done properly, it calms them down.  It can clarify thinking processes.  As a chologogue, it can speed digestion.   And reduce gallstones, by flushing them out.  (Coffee has a "bitter" effect on the gall bladder.   'Bitter' stimulates the gall bladder to produce bile which emulsifies fats.)    Athletic performance can be improved as coffee boosts the oxidation of fats in the blood.  Fat becomes fuel and excess weight can be lost.

Drinking a certain amount of coffee on a daily basis can help prevent Type 2 Diabetes as it increases insulin sensitivity.   Coffee has antioxidants.

The problem with coffee is coffee is usually roasted, then sits around, ground or not ground.  The beans are roasted and the oils are rancid.   And pesticides.

We brought our pendulums, and had a worksheet.    We dowsed for:

Which bean best suits my taste preference?
Which bean is the most beneficial for my health?
How beneficial is this bean for my health?
Overall, which bean is best suited for me?
Is there a category of bean that is best suited for me?
Is there a country or region that produces the most beneficial beans for me?  Which one?

How dark should I roast the beans?
What is the best brewing method for me?
How much ground coffee should I brew per cup?
Is it beneficial for me to drink coffee?    How beneficial is it?
What is the most appropriate number of cups of coffee for me to drink daily?
Is it beneficial for me to roast my own beans at home?   How beneficial is it?
Is it most beneficial for me to:     Oven Roast      Air Roast

Yes, coffee dowsed out as beneficial for us.  Coffee is grown in 3 regions:  The Pacificas, Africas and Americas.   The best coffee for  3/4  of our group, for health and taste and overall, is Sumatra, which is a Pacifica.   So Alan made this for us, showing us how to roast, grind and brew.   (He says it takes a year to learn what one needs to know about Coffee.)   You can roast the beans in a special roaster, or, straight in the oven in a glass or ceramic pan.

He told us about the differences in roasting times.  I always thought that the darker roasts would be more acidic and have more caffeine.  I was wrong.  The darker roasts have more body, less acid, less caffeine.  Espresso has less caffeine than regular coffee.

Make your own different blends, play with roasting times.  And, if you mix together Sumatra and Ethiopian, for example, you get the classic Mocha Java.  Jan Coles said that using a burr grinder for the beans instead of an electric grinder brings one, again, to a whole other experience.

You taste different coffees in different areas of your mouth --- different areas of the tongue, the roof of the mouth.   We learned about geography, industry, the environment, finances, monopolies, farming, cuisine, health.   We had fun, we practiced our dowsing, reminded ourselves of the importance of asking the right question, using charts, body dowsing, hand dowsing.

The Merchants of Green Coffee sell green beans, roasted beans, roasting, brewing equipment, etc.   If you join their club, you pay $305 for 25 pounds of green beans.  And they give you a roaster ($179 value) for free.  They also have a monthly coffee school.  You can buy their [organic, fair trade] green beans at many health food stores around Toronto.

Once you start drinking this kind of coffee, its hard to go back.  And, they say not to use cream or sweeteners.  They are right.

What the MOGC is doing is greater than bringing us good tasting coffee, coffee that is better for our health, as it is about the environment and bringing our awareness to the industrialization and devitalization of much of our food.

    *            *            *            *            *            *
    2)   MOGC brings our focus to the harm of industrialized coffee, then they turn our attention to the positive steps they have taken, with regard to their fair trade and sustainable practices, so one now focuses on the positive.   2 other areas that deserve scrutiny and change:

    a)  The harm that industrial coffee has done can be compared to what happened to the water supply in Walkerton, Ontario 4 years ago and 7 people died from the E. Coli that was in the town water supply.

The E. Coli leakage was caused by a nearby industrialized pig farm.  Not a pig farm where pigs are raised naturally, but where they are treated like machines rather than farm animals.  The stress and unnatural life for the pigs contaminates the manure which leaked in to the water.  There are groups around Napanee, Ontario, who have been trying to begin these industrialized pig farms.  And the community has been fighting them, for these reasons, as well as the unbearable stench.  Last I heard, the communities were winning.

    b)  More information is coming out about Mad Cow Disease.   An excellent radio interview was heard the night of August 17th on Coast to Coast radio on this topic.

Dr. Michael Greger, a coordinator with the Organic Consumers Association, discussed Mad Cow Disease which in its human form is called CJD. Greger suggested that the disease started in cows after they consumed diseased sheep parts, which was in their feed. While Europe has outlawed the feeding of slaughterhouse waste to their livestock, it is still being done in the US, as it is cost effective for agribusiness, he noted. This is "corporate greed at the highest level," without regard for public health.

Tiny protein structures called prions, causes the illness and they can remain infectious even after being cooked at extremely high temperatures.   The illness has a very long incubation period, where a person may not become sick until 10-20 years after being exposed.   The riskiest products are cheap processed meats, such as those used in fast foods.   THEY CAN"T STOP THE PRIONS.   Even high heat can not destroy the prions and they infect everything they touch.   For more information, Greger recommended the book Mad Cow USA which is available as a free download.

George Noory, who is the host of the radio show (and does an excellent job), while he is interested in all the speakers, generally stays pretty neutral.  He is taking an active stance on this issue by telling people about it and only consuming organic meat, and asking for it in restaurants, etc.

A year or 2 ago, another diet product ---- sold by MLM was being touted, loudly, by many.    One of the selling points on the web site, was the cleanliness and sterility of the manufacturing plant where this product was produced.   For me, it was a turn off.  I don't want my food - manufactured.   This is what has happened with food for the very young --- Baby Formula ---- and for the very old  --- products like Ensure ---- which are basically corn syrup with a vitamin.  Food needs to be alive, with enzymes and vitality.  You don't get Vitality and Life energy out of factory produced food.   You get dead food.  Life attracts and creates Life,  Death attracts and creates Death.

We used to be told that Soy and Canola were beneficial for our health.   Now more of the not so good aspects are being reported.

Supporting businesses such as the Merchants of Green Coffee helps to maintain and create the awareness that we want natural food, not machine food, not soylent green.  The farmers are treated more fairly and are encouraged.  We get products that are better on all levels and taste good.  And our taste buds thank us.

You can see the photos of our field day at:   COFFEE PHOTOS.

    3)
4 Toronto Dowsers request that we be more respectful of our Resources

    (1)  When Ann Fowle was alive, she would talk with me about ways to be more careful with our resources.  Since 3 of you have brought this up in the past 4 months, its time to bring it to the group.

For our refreshment time, Ann requested that I ask you to bring your own cups to the meeting so we reduce waste.  This was and is a good idea, yet at the time did not seem practical.  I fondly remember and appreciate Ann's brightness, earnestness and determination on this subject.

    (2)  This spring, Pat Prevost developed new insights as to how we ought to view our our material possessions, and urged us to consider it.   The full text of it is in the June 2004 newsletter, and, here is a part of it:

"We need to strengthen our ties to our material possessions whether it is a drive thru coffee cup or a couch.  Then I thought,  "Will that make us more materialistic?" & the answer I dowsed was a "No".  We would be more aware of the enormity of the challenge that we, both locally & globally, face with the current state of the phenomena of garbage & all of the other material possessions that we have become co-dependent with in our lives.  The quest for "stuff" is burying us alive."
    (3)  Alice Grange, soon after she became a member, wrote me about the Office Paper Buying Club,  from Vancouver, that would sell us recycled paper for the newsletter.  They say that:   Every 40 cases of paper sold through the Buying Club saves 17 trees, 4,100 kWh of energy, 20,000 litres of water and 3 cubic yards of landfill; Reduces air pollution by three-quarters; and, Lowers water pollution by one third.

[NOTE:   Trees for paper making are grown as a crop in much the same way as wheat. The main difference is that these trees take about 15 years to maturity, while wheat can get there in a season.]  However there is still the pulp problem.  Hemp might be a good replacement.  Hemp was demonized about a hundred years ago.  By cotton planters.  Who were threatened by the lower sales of cotton because of the strength of hemp. Times are achanging.  We hope.]

These are all good things.  And, it is twice as expensive as the paper we buy ($58.25 a case), plus taxes and delivery.  Although I was excessively busy at the time I did check with our printer and found out we could work this out with them.   I then notified her it could be done and would be glad if she were to offer to pay for it, she said she would but somehow it turned out she didn't.   Another thing to consider:  This could still be somewhat of a burden on me since it would get shipped to me, I have to store it and tote it.  All aspects must be considered.   And:  This is still a good idea.  Any takers?

If you are interested in doing this for us or for yourself or another organization, check out their web site or Contact copypaperbuyingclub@shaw.ca or phone 1-800-567-4055

    (4) Eva Angyal suggests that we ...  do like the Swiss.... take our garbage home...not particularly from our meetings but wherever we are every day.  (This is not redistribution.  Eva puts a lot of the garbage she takes home in her composter or recycle bins, which are more efficient than restaurants, and suggests we all do the same.)

When David Hawkins was in Toronto this past June, at the end of his presentation, Lisa Gelb and I were in conversation with one another. All the guests had left.  But they forgot to take something away with them.  Their garbage.  We were appalled at the trash left on and under the seats by these people who spent $100 for the day to hear David Hawkins speak about Consciousness.   I guess they went Unconconscious about their own refuse?  The rows were littered with bottles, cups, cans, bags, papers.  Plus, this was in a church!   I was grateful for the cleanliness of our group, where only the occasional person in our group forgets to take his/her bottle with them.

FAST FOOD LAZINESS:    Why is it that Fast Food eating places use throw aways when you eat in?   Like Wendy's, Burger King, McDonald's, Tim Hortons, etc.   Can you imagine the volume of trash from fast food restaurants all over North America --- in one day?  And what it is we are destroying?   I can't.  I used to get soup at the Tim Horton's at Yonge & Davisville.  It was served in a china bowl on a stainless steel plate.   Until the sars scam.  Then it was all throw away.  I called up Tim Horton's to object to this and was told most people were glad about it.

There is little reason for this practice to continue.  Let's change it.

    4)  How about   CHOP STICKS?   And the forests that are destroyed.... annually ... so we can have throw away chop sticks?

Heard on CBC about 2 years ago:   "According to government statistics, China currently makes and throws out more than 45 billion pairs of disposable chopsticks each year. Traditionally, chopsticks are carved from bamboo, cedar, sandalwood, teak, or pine   Up to 25 million trees a year are cut down to make chopsticks.   This could result in the total loss of China's forests within a decade, environmentalists say. Since devastating floods in China in 1998, which were blamed on deforestation, support has risen for more careful use of forest resources.

Some experts estimate that hundreds of millions of chopsticks are being used and tossed in the trash every day. All this contributes to the country's bigger environmental problems: Each year, China uses an average of 4 percent more timber than it did the year before. "Just imagine, years from now, when my grandchildren ask me what happened to all the trees," says one environmentalist. "I"ll have to say 'We made them into chopsticks.' Isn't that pitiful?"

The Chinese have used chopsticks for 3,500 years, but disposable chopsticks didn't catch on until the mid-1980s. They were hailed as a way to prevent disease. Then, as China's economy grew, more people were making more money and eating out more. "One-time" chopsticks became a restaurant convenience.

Even though chopsticks are part of Chinese tradition, not everyone thinks it's a tradition worth continuing. A growing environmental movement in China is calling for an end to the eco-unfriendly utensils. Middle school students in China have written letters asking their government to ban chopsticks. And college students have convinced school cafeterias to use spoons instead. (Who'd have thought that the spoon would be a symbol of environmentalism?) Some individuals have opted to carry their own reusable chopsticks with them.

It's too early to tell how much of an impact these efforts are having on the use of disposable chopsticks. But there are some hopeful signs: In February, over 100 state-owned Beijing restaurants made the decision to start washing and reusing their utensils instead of tossing them. Some cities are considering restricting the use of one-time chopsticks. And the government may even impose a new tax on the disposable utensils.

Chopsticks are just one part of a bigger environmental issue in China. But the crusade to ban them has helped many people realize that individuals can make a difference. And it shows that even little things--like the ones you eat your lunch with--can make a major difference for the planet. And that's a lesson we can all chew on."

    5)   When I was a child, we were told that if we pointed a beam of light towards the sky, that it would travel until it hit a solid object.  So we would stand there under the night sky (not asking ourselves if it would be different if we did this during the daylight) pointing flashlights at the sky, feeling infinite, imagining that we were sending out light beams that would travel beyond our lifetimes, wondering what planet, star or universe our beams would land on.

At night I see the office buildings at Yonge and Eglinton from my window.  And I see the dozens of floors that are fully lit.  All night long.  And wonder why.  Multiply that by the thousands?  millions?  of buildings around the globe that are also lit up.  Its a lot.

Last August, had to drive up to Caledon to properly see Mars in the Sky.  Astronomers from the David Dunlap Observatory, (with the largest optical telescope in Canada), in Richmond Hill, have been complaining about Light Pollution.

LIGHT POLLUTION:   TURN OUT THE LIGHTS:    The Toronto Star had a good article August 12th, by Rick Orchard,  about Light Pollution:

"The Blackout drew attention to light pollution.   August 14, 2003 was a defining moment for homeowners across Ontario.    The lights went out. Vanished. Gone. Nowhere to be seen.    And amid fears for our well-being, we bunkered down in our homes. At least initially.

But then something amazing happened. Darkness became our friend. We wandered out into the streets, stared at the stars, met our neighbours and shared barbecues and melting ice cream.

In short, it was a night to remember, a realization that we could survive without electric lights.    August 14th, many homeowners around the province recreated the events of a year ago, unplugging appliances and televisions, turning off the lights and luxuriating in darkness once more.

If enough homeowners did this, we could have entire neighbourhoods with no lights obscuring our view of the heavens above. Last year we say the blazingly starry night sky, dominated by an unusually close encounter with the planet Mars, that is the most vivid memory of last year's blackout. For many children, Aug. 14, 2003 was the first time they had ever seen the Milky Way.

City dwellers realized then just how cheated they are by light pollution — whether it be from glaring streetlights or unshielded outdoor lighting aimed upwards and reflecting off particles in the atmosphere.

This light pollution has lead to groups lobbying for regulations governing the amount of light we throw out every night. Originally lead by astronomers frustrated by the lack of clear view of the night skies, the anti-light pollution lobby has now passed into the mainstream.

Proponents describe three types of light pollution: sky glow, light trespass, and glare.

    *   Sky glow is a brightening of the sky (like the sickly orange aura over Toronto at night) caused by outdoor lighting, including streetlamps, office buildings and billboard lighting, reflected off particles in the atmosphere. Amateur astronomers especially hate this effect because it blinds their telescopes to the heavens above.

    *   Light trespass is light being cast where it is not wanted or needed, such as backyard landscaping lights, light from a streetlamp or a residential floodlight that spills onto a neighbour's property.

    *   Glare is any bright light that is discomforting or disabling, such as unshielded streetlamps, parking lot lights, floodlights, signs, sports field lighting, and garish decorative and landscape lights.

Slowly, people are beginning to fight back against light pollution.    Throughout Ontario's cottage country, for example, residents have begun to insist that new developments be equipped with "dark sky-friendly" lighting fixtures that don't allow light to escape upward. The Township of Muskoka Lakes has passed a resolution to encourage the use of night lighting that directs all light toward the ground.

The movement is growing in urban centres as well. Dozens of North American cities have introduced measures to combat light pollution, including Calgary, where all new streetlamps must have full-cut off fixtures that ensure no light is emitted upwards.

The problem has also lead to the formation of the world's first designated Dark Sky Reserve at Torrance Barrens, located two hours from Toronto, southeast of Bala. A naturalist's and astronomer's delight, the 1,905-hectare (4,707-acre) area is home to the best star-gazing near Toronto.

What can we do to fight light pollution?

[NOTE:  Sometimes outdoor lights left on at night can be used to give a feeling of safety.  So its not all negative.]

I would like to give you another job.  An easy one.
Several initiatives were just written about, above, on taking good care of our environment.
The areas above are areas that WE CAN EACH DO SOMETHING about.
They are within our reach and ability.   Please pick at least one and start doing something about it.
Let me know if you want to head a group and would like it in the newsletter.  If so, contact me with a good plan.
Would you like to start with one task?  Start small.  How about getting the lights turned out at night in the buildings in one area?  Once we know how these kinds of initiaves work and succeed, we can extend our reach.   Just like when I first started the Toronto Dowsers.  The organizing group wanted me to write the letter welcoming people to the first meeting.  I griped that I didn't know how to write such a letter.  And did it, because it had to be done.  And found I could.
A benefit for us dowsers is that to achieve results, we have tools other than spending time writing letters, having petitions signed.   We use our  Intention.   The way to do this, is:
"A responsibility of Dowsers is to protect and maintain the grids of the earth." ---  Mary Hardy
Do you want to...  [Belly]  Dance?
Hugh Magill called to talk about something that happened to him:   He was at a bookstore and the book "The Prayer of Jabez" (Old Testament, I Chronicles 4:10), by Bruce Wilkinson, jumped out at him.  He bought it, has been reading it and finding much comfort in it.   The following day he was at Les Kato's annual corn roast.   Hugh found this prayer on a table at Les' home.   The following day, I was searching for address information in the Questers Digest.  I picked up an issue, was leafing through it, and what caught my eye was a write up of a June 2003 presentation by Doug Gray at the ASD.   I remember listening to the tape!   The write up spoke about --- you guessed it:  The Prayer of Jabez.  That's when I knew it had to be included in this issue.

Doug said that Jabez was the most respected member of his family, despite a painful birth.  Doug repeats this short prayer 50-75 times a day, for life altering effects.  You may find different versions depending on the Bible that you source.  Here is the version from the Wilkinson book:

"Oh, that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory,
that your hand would be with me, and that you would keep me from evil,
that I may not cause pain.”

A presentation by William Henry, Summer 2003
[This was written a year ago]
The most mindboggling provocative presentation at Mary Hardy's Summer 2003 Temple of Sakkara Conference was offered by, author William Henry.  He takes everything we thought we knew about the history of our cosmos and culture and turns it upside down, inside out, wrings it, throws it away and brings in an absolutely unimagined perspective.  Which is even more unsettling because it is probably true.   Looking at his info at least, stretches the mind enough to pull us out of conventional thinking and reexamine how we believe things were and are.
An investigative mythologist who lives in Nashville, he finds and interprets ancient stories which feature advanced technology for raising of spiritual vibration and increasing spiritual vision.  His database of Egyptian, Sumerian and Holy Grail symbolism and mythology enable him to detect the ways history is repeating itself today.  We are going through the same things and it is best if we learn from history so we don't make the same mistakes.
William is convinced we are on the threshold of a dramatic breakthrough in spirituality, astronomy and medicine that will enable us to fully connect Earth with heaven.  Once again we are involved in a battle between the ancient forces of light (TARA) and darkness (TERROR).
  • He talks about Earth, whose real name is Tiamet
  • The search of the Blue stones that cause ill --> illumine  -->  illuminate.  (It's the Blue Stones that lead one to enlightenment.)
  • He says that we are human machines.  We do 1 of 2 things.  Broadcast fear/terror.  Or love.  This is food for other beings.  We are the herd.
  • The Cherokees got it right with their Creation Myth, that creation on earth took place through a Stargate. 1 of the 12 portals was a serpent.  (Similar to Jesus stepping through a Vesica Pisces - the mouth of a fish.)
  • Mayan and Egyptian wormholes match one anothers'. Their gods travel through wormholes.
  • Once you understand the secrets of symbols, you are connected to the Galactic Centre.
  • The Templars were persecuted because they understood Light; while others wanted to control and suppress this knowledge.  The Arc of the Covenant is a device within your solar plexus. The Templars knew how to ignite enLIGHTenment within people.
  • He told us a lot about symbols and the real origin of words and the connectivity from ancient forms to the words as they have been "dumbed down" to us today.  Can you figure out the origin of "Obi Wan Kenobi" with regard to Cannabis and what was really going on here?
One of his books, BLUE APPLES, is the untold story of Jesus, Mary Magdalene and the stargate technology and spiritual teachings of the gods.  Joshua, Moses' chief apostle, stole the stargate secrets of the Anunnaki (the Shining Ones or Illuminati) from Eschol, the "valley of the cluster" (as in grapes). These secrets were symbolized in the Book of Numbers (13) by a cluster of grapes that were so large it took two men to carry them. These grapes symbolize the exotic matter of which the stargate or wormhole to Heaven is composed.  In Illuminati Christian belief, the secrets of the grapes of Heaven, the Blue Apples, were employed at the Crucifixion of Jesus, an Illuminati Stargate event. Jesus came to us through a stargate and left through a stargate.  Its the finding and using the Stargates that is the true power on earth, the power that has been fought about for millennia, disguised as territorial disputes or disputes over gold, oil, etc.  Here is a fabulous link of a pictorial concept of what a Stargate might look like.

The galaxy may be in for a rude awakening. A device that can drill holes in space that take us from point A to point B is no longer a sci-fi fantasy. Each day now we move closer to designing the pipeline (or lifeline) that will take humanity into the galaxy. We are 50 years (or less given a twist of fate) away from opening the throat of a stargate or wormhole large enough for the first human to enter. Next time you find yourself wondering why we're so excited about re-engineering the human body think about StarGates. The current, interim, human body will not survive entering the wormhole as portrayed in movies. Only the transhuman will have at the greatest discovery in human history.

From the beginning, humanity has sought higher ground. Eve thought she could hop from A to B by eating the fruit of the serpent. Instead, she found she was naked. In the original story of king of the hill, God clothed Adam and Eve and slammed shut the gate to Eden in retaliation.

Earth life is a role-playing game set in 3-D. Humanity's goal is to recapture the fruit, reclaim our original skin and reopen the gate, which allows us to return to the garden (the hundreds of billions of galaxies in the known universe). Today's serpent is the wormhole, called a serpent rope by the ancient Mayans. The fruit of the serpent is the exotic matter of which the wormhole is composed. It transforms the ordinary human on contact into quicksilver. We're talking a fully functional human being.

Scientists hope to `lift the serpent' and eat the original controlled substance, the emission (the exotic matter) of the serpent (the wormhole) and go far into the universe. Like Eve, it will help if they soon find that they are naked.

It is Carl Sagan who is considered to be the original high priest of StarGates. In the movie Contact, based on Sagan's novel about first contact, the heroine Ellie ("Shining One") played by Jodie Foster intercepts a set of coded plans sent by an extraterrestrial species for construction of a device that opens a wormhole. The world bankrolls a prototype device. Ellie cloaks herself in a sexy tight-fitting garment and is flushed through the wormhole opened by the device 26,000 light years across the waters of life to the center of the galaxy. While visiting the galactic center, Ellie reunites with an apparition of her deceased father in a heavenly vision. He tells her no one knows who built the transportation system. "It's always been here," he says, and sends her on her way to spread the good news. The galaxy is open for humanity. Heaven is open for business.

This movie has it all. Mystery. Hope. A message. And most of all solid stargate science. Sagan cross-fertilized Contact's meme of "traversable wormholes" with a renowned theorist and Caltech professor Kip Thorn. Working with two of his graduate students, Michael Morris and Ulvi Yurtsever, Thorne established several parameters for wormhole construction. Make it quick. Make it comfortable. Make it safe.

This last criteria of wormhole design -- the issue of how to protect the stargate rider from the tidal effects of the intense gravitational fields predicted by Einstein's equations - was sidestepped in Contact. As the intra-galactic transportation system was already in place in Sagan's story very little of his attention was placed on protection, but most theorists conclude that that the `throat' and the `thread' of the serpent rope will be lined to protect the traveler.

Why are the bearded savior gods of every world religion portrayed as serpents? WH's research reveals its because they are either revealers of the knowledge of the (star) gates or wormholes leading to the stars, or because they themselves are the actual wormhole. In a survey of artwork displaying a remarkably consistent concept: the gods delivered the knowledge of wormholes, or are the wormholes themselves.

One morning in February 2003, George W. Bush came to land of the three stars Nashville, Tennessee - the home of a copy of Iraq's Tower of Babel - to tell religious broadcasters that "the terrorists hate the fact that we can worship Al-Mighty God the way we see fit," and that the United States was called to bring God's gift of liberty to "every human being in the world."

Bush believes in God's will. Foes say he found the right combination of religion and politics while living in Texas. He put on a halo and rode a wave of evangelical support to the core of the Republican Party. This right wing front organization for Jesus Christ took him all the way to the West Wing of the White House.

Bush's platform is simple, say friends and foe alike. Give everyone, everywhere, the freedom to find Jesus Christ.

His references to "good" and "evil," installed in his vocabulary after 9-11, exploded into a "countdown to Armageddon" and the return of Jesus in born again minds. They read "good", Jesus W. Bush, v. "evil", Satan Hussein.

When George W. Bush decided he'd had enough of the serpent Saddam he sent forces to `decapitate' him (a military technique that has been around `forever'), or expel him from the Garden. (In contrast to the approach of Moses and Jesus who sought to lift the serpent and transform it into a healing force.) In Sumerian myth, George the serpent or dragon slayer is known as Bel or Marduk, `the bright one', the god of Mars (war/terror or peace/tara).

Slaying Satan Hussein is the fulfillment of Ronald Reagan's apocalyptic plans. Some say it is the preamble to his repeated philosophizing about extraterrestrials, and the uniting of the human race in a final battle against an extraterrestrial foe.

This is the source of the `Thing' in the Near East. The extraterrestrials of times past inhabited present-day Iraq. The biblical Garden of Eden was their home, too.

To many Muslims, especially Arabs, Bush is the Christian Crusader come to steal the Cradle of Civilization for Jesus.

Bush put it plainly otherwise. "We come to Iraq with respect for its citizens, for their great civilization and for the religious faiths they practice. We have no ambition in Iraq, except to remove a threat and restore control of that country to its own people."

Today, President Bush prepares to unleash "Shock and Awe" against the Axis of Evil on behalf of the Al-Mighty.

Curiously, Al-Mighty is the name originally given to the Israelite god El Shaddai, the Lord of the Mountain, the god of the Burning Bush, from whom "the Egyptian," Moses, received the instructions to build the Ark of the Covenant and from whom he received Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. Jewish Kabbalists tell us Shaddai is Enoch/Metatron. The angel in the whirlwind?

Once again, we are seeing information from ancient cultures and their true connections to today brought out and their true meanings uncovered.

Asking Robert Gilbert on Changing Water to Wine

Robert Gilbert took time to answer some questions for us towards the end of his May weekend workshop.  For some time, I had been curious about the story of Jesus Christ changing water into wine, for a wedding feast.  I felt there was more to this than "just" a "mere miracle".  Robert selected this one of the 6 questions I posted and I've been thinking about it ever since.  Now I didn't write it down and its been several months so I hope I get it right:  [Robert explained this concept MUCH better than I'm doing it here.  I've mentioned it to you before, you wanted to know more so, here's the gist of it.]

When you drink water, your mind, attention and development are outward, on the universal.  When you start drinking wine, your attention is more inward, personal, where you focus on and start thinking about, and developing yourself and your ego.  Both are beneficial and need to be done, and there is a time for each.

Attention had been focussed outward and it was time to turn it again to personal development.  So it had to go from Water, to Wine.  Robert said it flipped back, around 1899, from wine to water, so to speak, where attention once again needs to be again on development and awareness of the universal rather than the personal.

"Interesting" that towards the end of this time, the US passed the Monroe Doctrine - 1823 telling everyone to "keep out".  Relatively speaking, it didn't last all that long.  Between the mid 19th and mid 20th centuries, feudal states ended to form in to countries (1871: Germany and Italy), the US had a Civil War which tore it apart and brought it back together again, the first World War took place and countries such as India took their independence to join the world of nations.  Areas joined within themselves to become countries and part of the world body.

And, I wonder if this is a contributing factor as to why there is such a problem and stigma with alcoholism.  That for those who had been used to drinking alcohol, in past incarnations, this is no longer appropriate and they haven't adjusted.

Many are familiar with David Wolfe, Raw Food Guru to the Stars, Poet, Author, Musician.  Based in San Diego, David has been in Toronto several times, invited by Super Sprouts.  He had an interesting talk recently and I thought you would really enjoy his concepts about wild food, electromagnetism, our bodies vs. trees and oceans, etc. Especially the last paragraph, which is similar to why the exploration in to foods such as coffee and wine.

    Become Juicy

The easiest most effective way to allow your body to begin to gain a facility and an education as to how to digest vegetation --- is to drink the juice of the plant.   Fresh vegetable juices.   The juice of the plant provides your body with what is necessary to educate the body as to how to digest fibrous plant material --- how to digest  whole food.   We've been brought up in an era where we don't eat vegetables.  Our vegetables have been cooked.

We've lost some facility to digest vegetation and therefore we have become adverse to it and try to skip around it in any way we can.  We try to take in foods which fill in the mineral gap ... which is left by not eating vegetation.   The best way to fill in that gap is to start drinking fresh vegetable juice.   This gives the facility to digest, to rebuild your whole digestive system..... and then you can start digesting salads better, digesting more, bringing in green.    When we bring in green we are clean.  Green being the heart chakra.  Most people in this civilization die of what?  A heart attack.  Which means they die of ---a  closed heart chakra means lack of compassion.

A million chickens a day are slaughtered to feed this city.  That's a city of chickens.  Every day.  To feed this city.  This is a civilization that has closed its heart to compassion.  And that is why people die of --- closed heart....  There is a relationship.

Studies have been done on people who have heart disease and what minerals are deficient and what minerals the heart actually runs on.  Each organ runs on different minerals.

Turns out, there is a deficiency of magnesium and potassium.   Magnesium is the mineral that is in chlorophyll.   Potassium is found on the leaf growing edge.  It is found in parsley.  In lettuce.  In leaves.  Sprouts, in particular.

Juiciness means there is more of a facility to move.  The joints become juicy.    When you work on someone's back, its as if rocks are in there.  Because the food of a lifetime has become so dense that nothing can penetrate.  As you lighten up and let your tissues be bathed in juice everything softens up and they becomes spongy and malleable the way we are supposed to have lived all the way back.

We can not have an insight --- no scientist, no matter how experienced they are with animals can know what a wild animal experiences eating wild food.  The assumption is that we can know and the fact is that we can't know.     Because a wild animal experiences a different reality than we do because they ate differently their whole life.  They can go from zero to thirty miles an hour instantly without pulling a muscle.   They can perform amazing feats of agility without stretching. They have incredible strength.  I always wondered, growing up, is it that why wild animals are so much stronger and more agile than we are.    After asking that question, all my life, I finally found some answers to it.  There are 2 reasons.

One is, they eat raw foods, the natural food that has juice in it.

The other is that they eat wild food which has constitutional prana in it.  High Life Force.  High Electromagnetism.  In fact food that has the most electromagnetism of any food is young green plants in the wild state.  It has the most electromagnetic force of any food.  It has constitutional building elements in it.  It makes you strong.  In in the most unique way.  If we get enough juice in our bodies, we actually start to have some motility.  The ability to move around in our body properly because this right in here is a floating ocean.

The juice that is in here must consist of 2 main elements:  Water, and --- what holds water in our bodies?    Salt.   Somehow life figured out how to wrap an ocean in to a skin and have the ocean walk on land.   Somehow plants have figured out how to become mobile and wrap themselves in around themselves and instead of putting roots out to soil put roots in to soil.   The analogy is that our intestines are our soil and we are actually a mobile plant.  Genetically we don't differ much from plants.  Strangely enough, we differ only 40% from an oak tree.  We are 60% similar to an oak tree!

That water and salt actually create the ocean environment.    We have a whole mythology in our culture that salt water from the ocean is not drinkable.

Someone who is not in tune with their body, toxic, who has never done anything like cleanses before, who doesn't have any idea of the overall juice balance and minerals and salts and all that,  it probably is very dangerous to drink sea water, because it would cause a reaction.

However the more in tune you are the more you become like the ocean and in tune with nature and the flow with your body you are you can drink ocean water and with no side effects.  That, to me, was a startling revelation.

Here is a  -- Possibility --  and its just a possibility:     That everything we've been told could be up for grabs.   It could be... totally... up for grabs.  Who knows?    See David's sites:   RawFood.comDavidWolfe.com  TheBestDayEver.com

Everything you see has its roots in the unseen world. The forms may change, yet the essence remains the same. Every wonderful sight will vanish; every sweet word will fade, But do not be disheartened, The source they come from is eternal, growing, Branching out, giving new life and new joy. Why do you weep? The source is within you And this whole world is springing up from it.

THE   Wednesday, September 8th 2004  MEETING FEATURES:
    William Henry
    from Nashville, Tennessee
will speak on: "The Rod of God and the Pillar of Light"

What is the rod shown in the hand of Jesus in early Christian art?
What is the rod of Osiris?

Myth and scripture records the existence of a miraculous rod that budded,
producing blossoms (of energy) and ripe fruit that were agents of healing,
    self-transformation and spiritual insight.

This same rod was used by Moses to part the Red Sea and
by Akhenaton to channel the rays of life from the celestial disk.

Some think it once manifested as the Tree of Life in the
Garden of Eden and as the True Pillar of Light at the Crucifixion.

Join investigative mythologist and author William Henry as he reveals
the remarkable myths and history of this miraculous Pillar of Light
and its connection to Dowsing, including:

    • The Pillar of Light and dowsing for the Waters of Life.
    • The pattern of the Pillar of Light over the seven springs of Nashville, Tennessee
    • Why the "Y" is the glyph of the Holy Grail

And much much more ....  William's books and DVDs will be available for sale
